GÄ…siorowice
Gonschiorowitz, Polish Gąsiorowice, is a place in Upper Silesia in the municipality of heaven joke ( Jemielnica ) in the powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship.
Geography
Gonschiorowitz is located northwest of the municipality seat Jemielnica. North of Gonschiorowitz there are several ponds and flows the brook sky witzer water ( Jemielnica ).
History
In the 14th century the town was known as Gansorowicz. 1463 Ganszrowicz name was mentioned and in 1526 the name Husarowitz.
1680 raged in Gonschiorowitz the plague.
In the referendum on March 20, 1921 112 voters voted to remain in Germany and 422 for Poland. Nevertheless Gonschiorowitz remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived in Gonschiorowitz 1,140 inhabitants.
On 15 June 1936, the town was renamed in Quellental. 1939 lived in Quellental 1,366 inhabitants.
In 1945, it was under Polish administration and renamed Gąsiorowice. In 1950, the City of Opole Voivodeship and 1999 re-established the powiat Strzelecki was assigned.
