Gáty'

Has (Ukrainian Гать; Gat Russian, Hungarian Gát, Slovak Hať ) is a place in the Oblast Transcarpathia Rajon Berehove in western Ukraine and is located north of Berehove.

The town was first mentioned in 1374 as Gát documented and is inhabited mostly by around 3100 Hungarian-born inhabitants in an area of 4.15 km ².

Until 1919, the village belonged to the Empire of Austria - Hungary or Hungary, then as part of the Carpatho - Ukraine to Czechoslovakia. With the annexation of it came back to Hungary 1938-1945, from 1945 the place is a part of the Soviet Union respectively since 1991 part of Ukraine. The place, together with the neighboring Tschykosch - Horonda a district municipality.
