Gave d'Oloron

The emergence of the Gave d' Oloron in Oloron -Sainte -Marie

The Gave d' Oloron is a river in south-west France, in the region of Aquitaine. It is formed by the confluence of the Gave d' Ossau and the Gave d' Aspe in the town of Oloron -Sainte -Marie. It drains to the northwest, flows through the historical province of Béarn and, after about 100 kilometers above Peyrehorade on the Gave de Pau, they travel by their union under the new name gaves Réunis the last few kilometers to the mouth of the Adour. On his way he crosses the departments of Pyrénées- Atlantiques and Landes.
