The Gave d' Ossau in Eaux- Chaudes

The Gave d' Ossau is a river in south-west France, in the department of Pyrénées- Atlantiques. It is formed by the confluence of the Gave de Brousset and Gave de Bious the village of Gaba, in the municipality of Laruns. This place is situated north of the Pic du Midi d' Ossau, in about 1000 meters above sea level, on the edge of the Pyrenees National Park. The Gave d' Ossau drained to the north, runs through the historic province of Béarn and, after 49 kilometers in the city of Oloron -Sainte -Marie on the Gave d' Aspe. Together they form the Gave d' Oloron here.
