GE Intelligent Platforms

GE Fanuc Automation was a joint venture between GE and the Japanese FANUC, a manufacturer of CNC control systems, drive systems for machine tools, machine tools and robots. It was from 1987 to 2009. FANUC CNC takes over the business world under the name of FANUC CNC, while GE software and embedded system will continue to operate under the name of GE Intelligent Platforms. The separation was completed in December 2009. The new European headquarters is based in Augsburg.
