Gebre Krestos

Gebre Krestos ( äthiop. ገብረ ክሪስቶስ, " servant of Christ "; † June 8, 1832 ) was dated 18 March 1832 until his death Negus Nagast ( Emperor ) of Ethiopia. He was the son of Gebre Mesay.

The end of race or Regent Ras Ali II, a prince of the Oromo from the district Yejju, Gebre Krestos sat on the throne as a figurehead. After a few months of interregnum came Sahle Dengel again on the throne.
