Gehry Residence

The Gehry Residence is the private residence of architect Frank Gehry, the, California is situated in Santa Monica. The house is not a new design known for his deconstructive work Gehry but the extension of a 1920 built bungalow. Gehry and his wife bought in 1977 the house and began the transformation. In this case, the house remained in its structure exist and was re-clad only from the outside. Gehry experimented it with elements that he already used his other designs. A conversion got the house in 1991 to be adapted to the changing needs of the family.

2012 the house was awarded the Twenty -five Year Award.
