Generali Unterhaching

The TSV Unterhaching 1910 eV is a sports club from Bavaria. The club is known for his volleyball team playing under the name Generali Haching in the Bundesliga. In other departments aikido, baseball, basketball, mountain sports, mass sports, women's gymnastics, DSV ski school, health sports, handball, judo, running, athletics, senior sports, dance, tennis, table tennis and gymnastics are offered.

National league

The TSV Unterhaching rose to the Bundesliga in 2000. Already in the second Bundesliga season 2001 /02 they became German Vice Champion. In the quarterfinals of the 2004 /05 Unterhaching the later runners evivo Düren was defeated by a narrow duel. In the season 2005/ 06 the Hachinger were subject to the eventual champions VfB Friedrichshafen in the semifinals and finished fourth. The same result, there was a year later. In the 2007 /08 season is different also from Friedrichshafen to two 1:3 defeat in the semifinals, but could win with two wins against the Moers SC third place. In the 2008 /09 season, the Hachinger went as the leader in the playoffs for the first time in their history the playoff finals, where they lost in four games against Friedrichshafen. In the 2009/10 season Generali Haching again faced the VFB Friedrichshafen in the final. The four play-off games went from 0:3, 1:3, 3:1, 2:3. In the 2010/11 season they finished after the main round 2nd place, level on points before the SCC Berlin but with a better set ratio. In the quarterfinals, the Netzhoppers Königswusterhausen were defeated with 3:1 and 3:1. In the semifinals, they failed significantly with 1:3 and 1:3 at SCC Berlin. The Berlin showed themselves mentally and physically much stronger and Haching no more will to win was evident. Nevertheless, it was the most successful season with the third Cup victory in a row and reaching the Champions League first knockout round in which only one in Golden Set against the Polish representatives Wegiel, who made it to the Final Four, retired for Haching. 2012 was defeated in Haching scarcest playoff finals of the recent Bundesliga history with 2:3 wins the new champion Berlin Recycling Volleys. 2013 you failed in the semifinals at VfB Friedrichshafen.

DVV Cup

In the season 2006/ 07 the Hachinger defeated in the quarter-finals to the eventual champion VfB Friedrichshafen. European Cup

In the preliminary round tournament of the CEV Cup in season 2006/ 07 Unterhaching was from 5 to 7 January 2007 hosts. In CEV Cup 2009/10 TSV Unterhaching already retired on the first round against AZS Częstochowa in Poland.

2010/11 Hachinger first emerged in the Champions League. Here they met in the preliminary round on UK Zenit- Kazan, CSKA Sofia and AS Cannes, where they were able to qualify as group runner-up for the next round and met Jastrzębski Węgiel. The first leg in local hall was won 3-1, but they lost the return match in Poland 1:3. Even the now overdue " Golden Set " went with 15:9 at the Polish hosts, so that Haching retired from the competition. In the season 2011/12 Haching qualified in the Champions League as the best group of third parties for the knockout stages, where you eliminated against Lokomotiv Novosibirsk VK with 1:3 and 0:3.
