Fringed gentian ( Gentianopsis ciliata )

The Frans gentians ( Gentianopsis, Syn: Crossopetalum Roth, Gentiana sect Crossopetalae Froelich ex Grisebach, Gentiana subgen Eublephis Rafinesque. . ) Now form a separate genus within the Gentian Family ( Gentianaceae ). Previously they were added to the species of gentian (Gentiana ).

Description

Gentianopsis species are one-, two - and perennial herbaceous plants. The simple leaves are decussate. Usually a basal rosette of leaves is present.
