Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize

The Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize is a British literary prize, which is awarded in honor of Geoffrey Faber, founder and first Chairman of the British publisher Faber & Faber since 1963.

Approved the award ceremony are works by authors from the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth of Nations, Ireland and South Africa, who are younger than 40 years. The award is presented annually to alternately volumes of poetry awarded (even years ) and prose ( in odd years ). Endowed with £ 1000 prize goes to the work in verse or prose, which was released in the UK in the two years before the award ceremony for the first time and after the jury 's opinion, constitutes the best literary achievement.

The three- critics jury nominated by editors and font managers of various journals and magazines that discuss verse and prose works regularly.
