Geoffrey Hugo Lampe

Geoffrey William Hugo lamp (* August 13, 1912; † 5 August 1980) was a British theologian.

Lamp has a 1935 study of Literae Humaniores and 1936 of theology at Exeter College, Oxford completed. From 1960 to 1970 he was Ely Professor of Divinity, 1970-1979 Regius Professor at Cambridge University. He was also a member of the General Synod of the Church of England. Lamp is particularly known as a publisher of original theological Patristic Greek Lexicon aligned.
