Georg Ã…berg

Georg Åberg ( Nils Georg Åberg; born January 20, 1893 in Hällestad, Östergötland County, † August 18, 1946 in Stockholm) was a Swedish long and triple jumpers.

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he won the long jump with the national record of 7.18 m, the bronze medal behind Americans Albert Gutterson (7.60 m ) and the Canadian Calvin Bricker ( 7.21 m). In the triple jump, he won silver with his personal best of 14.51 m and had 25 cm behind his compatriot Gustaf Lindblom.

1912, 1913 and 1915 Åberg was Swedish champion in the long jump.
