Gustaf Lindblom (athlete)

Gustaf " Topsy " Lindblom ( born December 3, 1891 in Kristinehamn, † April 26, 1960 in Stockholm) was a Swedish triple jumper. He started for the IFK Norrköping. At a height of 1.86 m his competition weight was 80 kg.

Gustaf Lindblom was one of eight Swedes, who competed at the Olympic Games 1912 in the triple jump. Among the total of twenty starters were plus three Norwegians and a Finn. As a result, the American Platt Adams was in 5th place, the only non-Scandinavian in the top eight. The first three places went to Sweden Gustaf Lindblom with 14.76 meters, 14.51 meters with Georg Åberg and Erik Almlöf with 14.17 meters.

After his career Lindblom was at the newspaper Idrottsbladet and later director of a dance theater.
