Georg Margreitter ( born November 7, 1988 in Bludenz ) is an Austrian football player. Since 2012 he is with the English club Wolverhampton Wanderers under contract.

Life and career

Margreitter began his career at FC Schruns Vorarlberg. Then he came to the federal youth development center Vorarlberg. He was appointed by the Upper Austrian club LASK Linz in the Youth League. In 2007 he was included in the squad for the first team of the Bundesliga. His debut in the Austrian Bundesliga was the defensive player on July 28, 2007, compared to FC Red Bull Salzburg, as he was allowed to accumulate in the back four of LASKler.
