George Dickerson
George Dickerson ( born July 25, 1933, Topeka, Kansas ) is an American actor.
Career
First, Dickerson had from 1979 to 1981 several appearances in television series. His first film role in Cutter's Way - No Mercy (1981 ) alongside Jeff Bridges and John Heard. Since then, Dickerson can be seen in various supporting roles and played repeatedly on television shows or films with. He often embodies detectives or sheriffs (eg in Psycho II, Blue Velvet, The White eye or A Stranger in the Kingdom).
Dickerson is the father of director and actor Dome Karukoski.
