George Garbutt

George Frederick Garbutt ( born June 18, 1903 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, † September 21, 1967 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. In the 1932 Olympics he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

George Garbutt began his career as a hockey player at the University of Manitoba. At the Winter Games in 1932, he represented Canada at the Winnipeg Hockey Club.

Internationally

For Canada Garbutt took part in the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid, where he won the gold medal with his team.
