George Hay, 7th Earl of Erroll

George Hay, 7th Earl of Erroll († 1573) was a Scottish nobleman and politician. 1561 he was a member of the Privy Council of Mary Queen of Scots. He was also Earl of Erroll as and associated offices on the royal family and those representatives of the highest man in Scotland. In April 1567 he was one of the signatories of the Ainslie Tavern Bond, a document in which the marriage of Mary Stuart and the Earl of Bothwell was accepted.

Marriages and descendants

1528 married George Hay Margaret Robertson, daughter of Alexander Robertson of Struan (Chief of the Clan Robertson). From the marriage seven children were born:
