George Wynn

George Arthur Wynn ( born October 14, 1886 in Tref laugh at Oswestry, † October 28, 1966 in Abergele to Conwy ) was a Welsh football player. He was striker played most of his career in England, and stood in for the Welsh national team.

Career

Wynn began his career in 1906 at Oswestry United. The following year, he won with his club the Welsh Cup, where he scored the last goal in the final 2-0 victory over Whitchurch. His first cap for Wales, he played on March 1, 1909 against Scotland in a game of British Home Championship at the Racecourse Ground stadium in Wrexham; Wales won that game 3-2.
