Georges Mandjeck

Georges Constant Mandjeck ( born December 9, 1988 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian football player.

Career

Association

The defensive midfielder, who can also be used in central defense, comes from the football school Kadji Sports Academy. He played there in the first team, which after the 2006 season - in Cameroon, the season will be held in the calendar year - was relegated from the Première Division.

For the season 2007/ 08 changed Mandjeck for German champions VfB Stuttgart. There he is to be carefully introduced to professional football. For the 2009/10 season Mandjeck was awarded back to the 1st FC Kaiserslautern for a year. A year later he moved to Rennes.

In the summer of 2013, he joined the Turkish Süper Lig newly promoted Kayseri Erciyesspor.

National

Georges Mandjeck went through from U-15 to U -23 national teams all juniors Cameroon, denied so far about 40 games, and also took part in the U-20 Africa Cup 2007.

In the summer of 2008 Mandjeck was nominated for the Olympic team of Cameroon, who took part in Beijing 's Olympic football tournament. There he played in two games of his national team and scored in the first game against South Korea the gate to a 1-1 draw.

On 14 October 2009 he made his debut in the Cameroonian national team in a friendly match against Angola.

Mandjeck was in the Cameroon squad for the African Cup of Nations 2010. Having had to take place on the bench in the first two group matches, Mandjeck was in the final group game, a 2-2 draw against Tunisia, through which Cameroon failed to qualify for the knockout stages and at the 1 :3- quarter-final defeat against Egypt over the full distance in use.
