Georges Marchal
Georges Marchal ( born January 10, 1920 in Nancy, France, † 28 November 1997 in Maurens, France) was a French actor.
Georges Marchal was known besides roles in swashbuckling films (including 1953 as D' Artagnan in The Three Musketeers André Hunebelles ), as muscular hero in sandals epics ( The Colossus of Rhodes, The legions of the Caesars ) and as a lover in romantic dramas (Last Love) for his collaboration with Luis Buñuel. Under his leadership played Georges Marchal et al in Death in this garden, Dawn, Belle de jour - Beauty of the Day and The Milky Way. The German television audience he is also known from the series The island of thirty death.
Georges Marchal was married to actress Dany Robin.
