Dany Robin

Dany Robin ( born April 14, 1927 in Clamart, Hauts -de -Seine, † 25 May 1995, Paris) was a French actress.

Life

After a classical dance training Robin worked as a stage actress and opera dancer before 1944 made ​​her feature film debut in the French film Lunegard. In the 50 years she has been in movies such as Frou Frou, La fête à Henriette and Julietta a popular French star. In 1969 it finally succeeded by a role in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller Topaz international breakthrough. It was her last film.

Robin was married in first marriage with actor Georges Marchal and in second marriage with producer Michael Sullivan.

In the early morning of May 25, 1995 Robin and Sullivan were found lifeless in her apartment after a fire. Despite successful resuscitation Robin died on the same day in a Paris hospital her severe burns.
