Georgina Wheatcroft

Georgina Wheatcroft ( born November 30, 1965 in Nanaimo, British Columbia as Georgina Hawkes ) is a Canadian curler.

Her international debut was Wheatcroft in 1987 at the World Championships in Chicago, which she finished with her team as the winner. At the World Cup in 2000, in Glasgow, Scotland, she was able to repeat this success.

Wheatcroft won the 2001 Canadian Olympic Curling Trails with her team represented Canada at the XIX. Winter Olympics in curling. She won on 21 February 2002 with her team, the Olympic bronze medal after a 9-5 win over the United States to Skip Kari Erickson.
