Georgios Paraskevopoulos

Georgios Paraskevopoulos (Greek: Γεώργιος Παρασκευόπουλος ) was a Greek cyclist, who participated in the 1896 Summer Olympics. Paraskevopoulos joined on the 12- hour race and the road race. For the 12 -hour race he did not finish. Its exact position is not known, but it is certain that he was not among the top two. In the road race from Athens to Marathon and back over a distance of 87 km its exact times are also not recorded, but even here he could not be finished in the top three starters. It is not even known whether he arrived at the destination, or had to give up before.
