Georgy Poltavchenko
Georgi Sergeyevich Poltavchenko (Russian Георгий Сергеевич Полтавченко, scientific transliteration Georgii Sergeevich Poltavchenko, Azerbaijani Georgi Poltavçenko, born February 23, 1953 in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR ) is a Russian politician and governor of Saint Petersburg.
Training
Poltawtschenkos family moved when he was seven years old, to Leningrad. In 1970 he graduated from high school at the Leningrad Physico- Mathematical School No. 211 Poltavchenko studied and graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Aircraft instruments. In 1976 he graduated as a mechanical engineer ( instruments for aviation and space medicine ) from, and then worked as an engineer in a military operation.
