Gerbrand Bakker (novelist)

Gerbrand Bakker ( born April 28, 1962 in Wieringerwaard, Anna Pavlovna community, The Netherlands) is a Dutch writer.

Life

Bakker grew up on a farm and studied language and literature in Amsterdam, worked as a translator of subtitles for nature films and has a diploma as a gardener. He wrote plays, poems, screenplays and books for adults and children. Pear trees bloom white is his first novel for young people.
