Gerlinde Locker

Gerlinde Locker ( born April 28, 1938 in Linz) is an Austrian stage, film and television actress.

Career

After attending high school and arts and crafts school Gerlinde Locker trained as a weaver. During this time she attended for four years in addition to drama school at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz.

At 18, she passed the drama exam at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and received a year later in 1957 her first engagement at Linz State Theatre. During her later film career, she remained faithful to the stage. From 1962 she played at the theater in the Josefstadt in Vienna, at the Renaissance Theater Berlin, at Hamburg's Thalia Theatre and comedy venues in Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin.
