Germany at the 1936 Winter Olympics

Germany took part in the IV Olympic Winter Games in 1936 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen with a delegation of 55 athletes participate. The athletes were 3 gold and 3 silver medals win. The most successful athlete in the German team was Ernst Baier of a gold and was able to win a silver medal in figure skating.

Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was Georg von Kaufmann.
