Gert Wieczorkowski

Gert Wieczorkowski ( born July 24, 1948 in Hamburg ) is a former German football player.

From 1971 to 1974 Wieczorkowski played for FC St. Pauli in the Regionalliga Nord. Subsequently, he was active for five years with Rot-Weiss Essen. His greatest success was at RWE 1975/76 reaching the eighth rank in the Bundesliga table. In 1977, he rose with food from the 2nd Bundesliga Nord and denied to date 101 Bundesliga games (7 goals) for RWE. Wieczorkowski played another two years as a professional at Rot-Weiss Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. Overall, he came in his career on 101 games (7 goals) in the league and 39 games ( 5 goals) in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. From 1979 to 1985 he was still playing in the United States for the San Diego Sockers in the North American Soccer League and Major Soccer League.
