Gertrud Wolle

Gertrud Wolle ( born March 11, 1891 in Urbis, Alsace, † July 5, 1952 in Munich, Bavaria ) was a German actress.

Life

Gertrud wool was two years nanny and then attended drama school in Berlin. In September 1916 she came to the German theater, where she made her debut in Goethe's Faust.

Early Gertrud wool was on the stage and set the silent film on the role of quirky elderly female person. With the advent of the talkies she was employed in this capacity in an enormous number of productions. She appeared in the most brief appearances for the amusement of the audience as a shrill, ridiculous woman room in the role of a secretary, teacher, warden, clerk, employee or neighbor.

Due to this continuous use in the film, she had little time for theater performances and acted only in the filmless time after 1945 on the stage, for example, at the Stadttheater Passau. Then she was up to her death active again in the usual way in the film.

Their burial place is in the forest cemetery Grünwald near Munich.
