Ghanaian parliamentary election, 2008

The parliamentary elections in Ghana in 2008 in the West African state of Ghana found 7 December 2008 coincide with the presidential election. As a result, the previously ruling New Patriotic Party has to settle for second place behind the former opposition party National Democratic Congress.
