Gheorghe Grozav

Teodor Gheorghe Grozav ( born September 29, 1990 in Alba Iulia ) is a Romanian football player. He stands at Terek Grozny since the summer of 2013 under contract.

Career

Association

The career of Grozav started at Unirea Alba Iulia in his hometown. In 2007, he came into the squad for the first team, which played into the League II. In his first season he was able to achieve six goals in 15 games. The season 2008/ 09 he finished with his team in the first place his squadron and rose to the League 1. During the winter break of 2009/10 he was standing with his club in the relegation zone, as it took the top Belgian club Standard Liege under contract. There, however, he could not prevail, and remained during the 18 months in the Jupiler Pro League without scoring. The 2010/11 season he was with standard runner and won the Belgian Cup.

In summer 2011 Grozav returned to Romania and was hired by Universitatea Cluj. A year later he joined League rival Petrolul Ploieşti. With the Cup victory in 2013, he won his first title.

National

Grozav was first appointed in May 2012 to the contingent of the Romanian national team. In the friendly against Switzerland, he was on 30 May 2012 in the starting lineup and scored the only goal in a 1-0 success. Since then, he is an integral part of the team and by March 2013 master power in the storm. Then he came only as a substitute for the course.
