Giancarlo Vilarinho

Giancarlo Vilarinho ( born April 2, 1992, São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver.

Career

Like most racers began Vilarinho his career in karting. In 2008, he debuted in Formula racing. For Euro International, he competed in the American Formula BMW. While his teammate Alexander Rossi won the championship title, Vilarinho with two second places as the best results was sixth. He also took part in six races of the Formula BMW Europe as a guest. 2009 remained Vilarinho at Euro International in American Formula BMW. He dueled with his teammate Gabby Chaves for the title. Although Vilarinho with seven victories won half of the races, he was beaten and was runner- up with 187 to 235 points Chaves. He also took part in a race in the Star Mazda Series.

After the American Formula BMW was set Vilarinho 2010 was initially without cockpit. In August, he finally took part in two Indy Lights races for Andersen Racing. In the overall classification, he finished 27th place.
