Giarsun

Giarsun ( [ dʑɐrzʊn ]? / I ) is a village in the Lower Engadine in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The fraction Giarsun belongs to the political community Guarda.

Location and transport

Giarsun is on the main road 27 between Lavin and Ardez; directly above is the station of the Rhaetian Railway of Guarda, which is located on the left side on a slope and is connected by a steep footpath to the railway station.

Monumental is the Protestant church.

Tourism

In Giarsun is a demanding stretch of the Inn for canoeing and kayaking.
