Gideon Gathimba

Gideon Gathimba (born 9 March 1980) is a Kenyan middle distance runner.

In 2008 he ran on 14 June in Rabat with 3:33,63 min his best time over 1500 m. About the same distance he was fourth at the IAAF World Athletics Final.

On 4 September 2009 he was part of a Kenyan quartet ( William Biwott Tanui, Gathimba, Geoffrey Rono Kipkoech, Augustine Kiprono Choge ), which in Brussels, with 14:36,23 min 32 -year-old world record of the German Karl Fleschen, Thomas Wessinghage Harald Hudak and Michael Lederer at the 4- times -1500- meter relay broke.
