GiedRé
GiedRé ( real name: Giedrė Barauskaitė; born October 23, 1985 in Vilnius, Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian living in France, singer-songwriter and comedian.
Biography
Giedrė Barauskaitė was born still -Soviet period in Vilnius. At the age of seven years she accompanied her mother, who settled here after the death of her husband in a Parisian suburb. After her Baccalauréat she studied drama at the Cours Florent and then at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre in Lyon (68th Graduation year ). As a result, they had little television and theater roles and starred in advertising spots. From about the year 2000 Barauskaitė began composing songs they recited in a Quartierbar the neighborhood. After she Raphaël Mezrahi noticed during one of these performances, she starred in the opening act at La Cigale. It was repeated in Laurent Baffies C'est quoi ce bordel radio show? invited on Europe 1. She took on the stage name " Moisie " and denied Preliminary Programs for Baffie and Oldelaf.
Giedres first album was a self-production and appeared in 2011 under the title Mon premier disque. The 2000 personalized copies sold within twelve weeks. GiedRé had chosen to self- distribution and struck deals for the music industry from. In the same year she published Mon premier cdvd with music clips.
In June 2011 GiedRé joined the Festival de la Cité Lausanne the first time in Switzerland. 2011 and 2012 they had over 100 concerts in France and other French-speaking regions. She played at the music festival Francofolies in La Rochelle, Spa and Montreal, and again in Switzerland at the Paleo Festival Nyon. A great tour of France with the title " tournante " joined them.
2012 counted GiedRé to the laureates of the Fonds d' action et d'initiative rock.
Mon premier album genre Panninni appeared on 1 April 2012. The album contained no disc, instead allowed selbtklebende collecting images to download the songs using a code. In January 2013 was followed by a compilation of their best pieces under the title Mon Premier BesT oF and later the album MoN Premer album vendu dans les VRAIS MAGASINS, which she sold for the first time on the regular distribution channels.
Musical style, lyrics
As a " rude " and described " politically incorrect " and marked by black humor treat the texts of GiedRé issues such as prostitution and pedophilia. They stand in contrast to the outward appearance and the stage presence of the graceful chansonniere. GiedRé not rated their songs as provocative, they merely describe the reality that is now once often shocking.
The press draws in their songs compared to the similar rough texts of Pierre Perret or Georges Brassens ', which the singer has heard much. GiedRé describes himself as a devotee of folk music and is one of the comedian Jon Lajoie Québec and the American stand- up comedian George Carlin to their inspirers. She accompanies herself on an acoustic guitar.
