Gilles Yapi Yapo ( born January 30, 1982 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player who played from 2010 to 2013 at FC Basel.

Previous clubs

The attacking midfielder Gilles Yapi started his professional career in July 2000 when Ivorian football club ASEC Abidjan, whom he left in June 2001 to move to the Belgian ErstligistenKSK Beveren. For winter break, in early 2004, it was purchased by the French first division side FC Nantes where he received a contract until June 2007.
