Gin Wigmore

Virginia " Gin " Wigmore (* June 6, 1986 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand singer and songwriter.

Life

Gin Wigmore lost as a teenager, her father and the song they had written to his funeral, she won as a 17 -year-old of 2004, the International Songwriting Competition in the U.S.. Nevertheless, it took some time until she had chosen the music business and produced her first EP. The Extended Play EP in mid-2008 reached the Top 10 of the New Zealand charts and reached gold status. After this initial success, they contributed the female vocals to the song Brother of the hip- hop group playSmashproof, which became one of the most successful songs from New Zealand production.

Then she produced her debut album Holy Smoke, which was also the well-known U.S. producer Mike Elizondo was involved. In the summer appeared Oh My, an older, for the album freshly resurfaced number again scored gold with over 7500 units sold. Their album jumped in October 2009 immediately ranked 1 on the charts.
