Gina Carano

Gina Joy Carano ( born April 16, 1982 in Dallas, Texas ) is an American actress and former mixed martial arts fighter.

Life and career

Carano was born in Dallas, Texas County, the daughter of Glenn Carano football player. She has two sisters. At the Trinity Christian High School in Las Vegas, she played basketball. She earned a degree in psychology at the University of Nevada in Reno.

Carano came across Muay Thai for MMA. Their first fight they had in the fight organizer EliteXC on June 10, 2006 in Las Vegas. Up in October 2008 was followed by six more fights that all ended victoriously until in August 2009 in the main fight of the Strikeforce event Carano vs. Cyborg was defeated for the first time. In addition, she served as Gladiator Crush part of the remake of American Gladiators. Carano trained at Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts.

Her acting debut was in 2009 Carano in a supporting role of the film Blood and Bone - revenge at any cost. In the movie Haywire directed by Steven Soderbergh from the year 2012, she played her first leading role.

Since the beginning of August 2012 Carano was during the filming for the sixth part of the series The Fast and the Furious front of the camera. The film was released on 23 May 2013 theaters.

They also played in the computer game Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, the Soviet Special Agent Natasha.
