Ginette Keller

Ginette Keller ( born May 16, 1925 in Asnières- sur -Seine ) is a French composer.

Keller studied at the Conservatoire de Paris with Nadia Boulanger, Tony Aubin and Olivier Messiaen. In 1951, she won with the cantata Et l' Homme vit se les portes rouvrir the Second Grand Prix de Rome. From 1966 she taught solfège at the Conservatoire de Paris, from 1972, she was Professor of Music Analysis at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.

In addition to works for solo instruments and chamber music ensemble composed cellar, two operas based on libretti by Alain Germain.
