Life

Until 1989, Di Stefano was living in England, where he was convicted and imprisoned again in 1984 for fraud. From 1989 to 1992 he lived in Los Angeles and tried - unsuccessfully - to acquire the MGM studios. After the Justice had him re-bid of fraud for investigation, Di Stefano fled to Yugoslavia in 1992 and has built up to Slobodan Milošević a friendly relationship there. Until 1999 he remained in Serbia and then moved to Italy.

The early 2000s, he managed to defend under the Italian name " avvocato " as alleged numerous well-known lawyer accused. Among them were war criminals such as Tariq Aziz and Saddam Hussein and accused whose cases were discussed controversially in the (mainly British ) press (eg Gary Glitter ). Di Stefano himself in 2005 published a book entitled Defending the Indefensible.

2011 Di Stefano was arrested with a European arrest warrant, which was issued by the British law enforcement authorities in Mallorca for money laundering and fraud.

In March 2013 Di Stefano was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 14 years due to several cases of fraud, receiving stolen property and other fraudulent activities.
