Gippsland

Gippsland is a rural region in the Australian state of Victoria. It extends from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to the border of the State of New South Wales and touches the north, the mountain ranges of the Great Dividing Range and to the south the Bass Strait. Economically, carries the region through resource extraction, energy production, agricultural production and tourism.
