Girnitz

The Girnitz is a left tributary of the raft in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria.

River

It rises on a meadow near Spielberg Wampenhof and flows about 12 km in length, first the small town of Spielberg and the nature reserve Doost until it opens between Haupertsreuth and Diepoltsreuth in Störnstein in the raft.

Near the Girnitz source is also the source of much longer river Luhe.
