Giulietto Chiesa

Giulietto Chiesa ( born September 4, 1940 in Acqui Terme ) is an Italian journalist and politician (Italia dei Valori, former Italian Communist Party ).

Chiesa laid aside the humanistic high school and worked as a journalist since 1981. For the newspapers L' Unità and La Stampa, he reported from Moscow. Later, he was a Fellow of the Wilson Center.

First Church was a member of the National Secretariat of the Communist Youth League in Italy and was then a member of the national leadership of the PCI in the section Genoa. From 1975 to 1979 he was chairman of the PCI Group in the Provincial Council of Genoa. Chiesa was one of the PCI at up to resolution 1991. In 2004 he was elected on the Independent Lista Di Pietro in the European Parliament. In 2009, he joined in Latvia on the list of party ForHRUL, but failed it.
