Action

The film explores the historic speech by Patrick Henry, which he kept on March 23, 1775 before the Virginia Convention. George Washington, Patrick Henry tried to persuade, to use his influence in the Virginia House of Burgesses claims and to move Virginia for support in the struggle for independence of the American colonies. This is initially undecided about his wife. Finally, he considers, however, with the support of his wife, his famous speech with the words Give me Liberty, or give me Death! ends.

Background

The Patrick Henry's speech from the March 23, 1775 went down in the history of the United States. With it he brought about the approval of the Virginia Convention on the use of troops on the side of independence -seeking Thirteen Colonies.
