Glaramara

The Glaramara is a mountain in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The Glaramara is one of the 214 described by Alfred Wainwright mountains of the Lake District. The Glaramara is 783 meters high, but has only a saddle height of 121 m.

The Glaramara is situated on a mountain ridge which extends north across the Rosthwaite Fell to Borrowdale valley and extends southward along a group smaller than Lincomb tarns designated lake and the High House Tarn to Allen Crags and then to the Esk home pass. East of Glarmara through the valley of Langstrath Beck is separated high raise. West of Glaramara is the Seathwaite Fell.

Is the hanging valley of Combe Gill on the north side of the Glaramara.

From the location at the end of the road in the hamlet of Seathwaite Borrowdale a direct ascent to the summit is possible.
