Gleb Panfilov Anatoljevich (Russian Глеб Анатольевич Панфилов; born May 21, 1934 in Magnitogorsk, Soviet Union ) is a Russian film director.

Life

Panfilov had until 1957 attended the Polytechnic Institute of the Ural and then began to work as a chemist. In 1958, he joined an amateur film club in Sverdlovsk and debuted in the same year as a director.
