Glen Kidston

George Pearson Glen Kidston (* January 23, 1899, † May 5, 1931 in Natal ) was an English racing driver, who became known as one of the Bentley Boys.

Glen Kidston was in the 1920s, one of the legendary Bentley Boys, who made at this time in international motorsport sensation. In Britain were also known for its parties, which could take days. In World War Kidston was Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy.

Kidston began in the early 1920s with motorsport. He drove in the Monte Carlo Rally, Hill Climb in the UK and also denied motorcycle racing. Several times he was in the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man at the start. In 1929 he made ​​his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans equal to the second place in the overall standings. In 1930, he won the race as a partner of Woolf Barnato.

1931 moved Kidston for Aviation and presented some records. In May 1931 he was killed in a plane crash in South Africa.
