Gleneagles Hotel

The Gleneagles Hotel is a 5 star luxury hotel near the Scottish town of Auchterarder. It is one of the Leading Hotels of the World.

The hotel was opened in 1924 and was known as the conference venue as well as a venue for PGA golf tournaments. In 2014 also the Ryder Cup will be held.

The hotel is currently owned by the Diageo drinks group.

In 1977, the Gleneagles agreement was signed at the hotel.

The Gleneagles Hotel 31 G8 summit took place in 2005.
