Gmina Nowosolna
The Gmina Nowosolna is rural commune ( gmina wiejska ) in the powiat Łódzki Wschodni in the region of Łódź, Poland. Seat of the municipality is the village Nowosolna that does not belong to the community but a district of Łódź.
Geography
The community is located east of the city of Łódź. It has a surface area of 53.98 km ². 70 % of its territory is used for agriculture, 23 % is covered by forest.
History
From 1975 to 1998, the village belonged to the Łódź Voivodeship.
Sołectwo
The parish includes the sołectwo ( Soltysships ) Boginia, Borchówka, Byszewy, Grabina, Kalonka, Kopanka, Ksawerów, Lipiny, Moskva, Natolin, Nowe Skoszewy, Plichtów, Stare Skoszewy, Teolin and Wiączyń Dolny. Next villages of the municipality are Borki Bukowiec, Dąbrowa Dabrówka, Dobieszków, Głogowiec, Janow, and Niecki Wódka.
Education
The municipality operates two elementary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) and a middle school ( gimnazjum ).
