Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II

Unlike the title suggests, the film is not a sequel of a movie called Godzilla against MechaGodzilla. The original title Gojira tai Mekagojira (Eng. " Gojira against Mecha - Gojira ' ) is identical to that of King Kong versus Godzilla (1974 ), among others in the West as Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla was marketed. The film was labeled as II, in order to avoid that the film is confused with the 1974 or held for a remake.
